Who we are
ExpatTools (expattools.org) is operated by the team behind Profi Expats, an independent financial advisory based in Prague, Czech Republic. Contact us via the contact page.
What data we collect
We do not require accounts and do not ask for personal data to use this site. Our interactive tools (calculators, quizzes, planners) run entirely in your browser; the values you enter are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Hosting & server logs
This site is hosted on Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify may process technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages) in server logs for security and operational purposes. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Advertising & cookies
We use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com. Where required by law (including the EU), ads are only personalised subject to your consent choices.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links (for example to Wise or SafetyWing) are affiliate links. If you click them, the partner may set cookies on their own site to attribute a referral, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend services we use in our own advisory practice.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data concerning you. Because we do not maintain user databases, such requests will typically concern our processors (e.g. Google, Netlify). You can contact us via the contact page and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Czechia: ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz).
