2026-09-06Content remediation pass
The September 2026 review went through every page on the site:
- All nine calculators gained full method notes, usage guidance, a worked example and a FAQ — so the tools you run sit on top of visible, reviewed assumptions.
- All nine rankings gained the same treatment: why the table exists, how to read it, commentary on the top of the table, and caveats.
- The thirty-three city dossiers had their shared boilerplate replaced with city-specific copy, plus per-city field notes from this review.
- Every country file gained a review note and a sources-and-next-steps block pointing to the authorities we verify against.
- Hub pages (tools, guides, rankings, countries) gained real intro and method copy.
- Review dates across the site were updated to 6 September 2026, and FAQ/Organization structured data was added to the pages that now carry it.
2026-09-07Named-author pass
Every reviewed page now carries a byline naming the reviewer — Mgr. Nicolas Griss — with a profile on the about page and matching Person/Article structured data, so the review trail points at a named person rather than an anonymous team.
2026-08-24SEO and monetization pass
Repaired unlinked call-to-actions on 29 country pages, added affiliate-disclosure partner boxes sitewide, created the field kit page, trimmed overlong meta descriptions, and added breadcrumb markup across 86 pages.
2026-06-09Data refresh
Annual review of every city dossier: rent, food, transport, utilities and insurance figures re-checked; visa thresholds and tax notes confirmed against current official sources where they changed. Review dates on all pages updated to 9 June 2026.
